The Story & Details
Stillness in form. A little piece of nature preserved within.
Beautifully carved from Clear Quartz, this Garden Inclusion Buddha combines delicate sculptural detail with the unexpected character of natural green mineral inclusions.
Weighing approximately 159g, this individually selected carving depicts a peaceful seated Buddha with gently closed eyes, hands brought together in a gesture of reverence and flowing robes arranged around a crossed-leg posture.
The translucent Quartz gives the carving a soft, almost frosted appearance, allowing light to pass through the stone while highlighting the intricate details of the figure.
But what makes this particular piece special is what nature has left inside.
Delicate green garden-like inclusions can be seen running through areas of the Quartz, introducing subtle earthy detail against the otherwise colourless crystal.
These natural markings create an interesting contrast between the carefully carved figure and the unpredictable mineral formations preserved within the stone.
No two included Quartz specimens will ever display precisely the same internal patterns, making this a beautiful individual piece for collectors who appreciate natural character.
Natural Green Garden Inclusions
While Clear Quartz is often valued for its transparency, included Quartz offers a different kind of beauty.
This carving contains delicate green mineral markings that appear within the translucent body of the crystal.
Rather than forming a uniform colour, the inclusions occur as irregular natural features, creating subtle variations in tone and depth.
The contrast is particularly attractive against the frosted carved surfaces, where the green details become visible beneath the smooth exterior.
Garden Quartz is a trade term commonly used for Quartz containing visible mineral inclusions that resemble natural landscapes, moss or other organic formations.
Green inclusions in Quartz can originate from different minerals, including chlorite-group minerals, although the precise composition of this specimen has not been independently identified.
Here, the inclusions provide a gentle reminder of the crystal's natural geological origins.
A Symbol of Stillness & Reflection
The Buddha figure has long been associated with wisdom, compassion, mindfulness and the pursuit of inner peace.
Depicted in a seated position with a serene expression, this carving evokes the quiet discipline of meditation and contemplation.
The gently closed eyes suggest inward attention, while the hands brought together represent reverence and respect.
These qualities make the carving a meaningful addition to a meditation space, personal altar or carefully curated crystal collection.
The combination of Clear Quartz and the peaceful Buddha form creates a particularly elegant display piece, with the natural green inclusions introducing a subtle connection to the earth.
A moment of stillness, shaped in stone.
The Character of Clear Quartz
Quartz is one of the most abundant minerals in the Earth's crust, valued for its durability, transparency and remarkable variety of natural formations.
Composed of silicon dioxide (SiO₂), Clear Quartz can range from almost perfectly transparent to translucent or cloudy, depending on its internal structures and inclusions.
This specimen has a beautifully translucent appearance, with polished and frosted surfaces that interact differently with light.
The sculpted hair, facial features and flowing robes create texture and dimension, while the natural internal inclusions add another layer of visual interest.
It is this combination of craftsmanship and natural mineral character that makes the carving distinctive.
Traditional Associations

- Spiritual Growth: Personal awareness and spiritual exploration.
- Grounding: Connection to nature and the present moment.
- Cleansing & Purification: Symbolic energetic renewal and fresh beginnings.

Display on a stable, level surface where soft natural lighting can highlight the translucency and intricate carved details.
Clean gently with a soft cloth or a very soft brush to remove dust from the textured areas.
Avoid abrasive products, harsh chemicals and sudden impacts that may damage the finer carved features.
Natural inclusions, internal fractures, mineral markings and minor surface variations form part of the specimen's individual character.
Please note: The appearance of the green inclusions and the translucency of the Quartz may vary depending on lighting and viewing angle. Colours may appear slightly different depending on photography and screen settings. Weight is approximate.
