The Story & Details
Old ways. Sacred intentions. Ritual ingredients prepared with purpose.
Not every ritual begins with a candle. Sometimes it begins with a handful of herbs, a circle of salt or a little rice placed with intention.
Welcome to the Crystal Asylum Ritual Blends Collection, a selection of spiritually inspired ingredients prepared for those who practise witchcraft, honour traditional folk customs or simply enjoy creating meaningful personal rituals.
From protection and cleansing to prosperity and abundance, each blend has been selected or prepared with a particular purpose in mind.
Choose from three signature ritual preparations or commission a Custom Intention Blend, created specifically around your own intentions.
Three traditional preparations. One entirely personal creation. A little magic made your own.
Blackthorn | Protection Blend
For protection, grounding and warding.
Named after the Blackthorn, a tree deeply rooted in British and European folklore, this ritual blend draws inspiration from traditional protective practices and the symbolism of boundaries.
Blackthorn has long been associated with resilience, guardianship and the protection of sacred or personal spaces.
This carefully prepared blend brings together selected botanical ingredients for use in personal rituals centred around protection, grounding and warding.
Its earthy appearance, dried leaves and varied botanical textures give it the character of an old-world apothecary preparation.
Suggested Ritual Uses
- Protection jars and symbolic warding rituals.
- Personal altar arrangements.
- Intention-setting practices focused on boundaries.
- Decorative spell bottles and ritual displays.
- Grounding and reflective spiritual practices.
Set the boundary. Honour your space. Stand within your own power.
Black Salt | Protection, Cleansing & Banishing
For protection, cleansing and the symbolic release of unwanted influences.
Black Salt holds a distinctive place within contemporary witchcraft and folk-inspired spiritual practices.
Often associated with protection, banishing and energetic cleansing, it is commonly incorporated into rituals focused on boundaries, release and personal intention.
Its dark, granular appearance makes it a striking addition to an apothecary collection or ritual workspace.
Within spiritual practice, black salt may be used to symbolise the separation between what is welcomed into a space and what is intentionally left behind.
Suggested Ritual Uses
- Symbolic protection and boundary-setting rituals.
- Banishing and releasing ceremonies.
- Decorative spell jars and bottles.
- Altar arrangements and ritual displays.
- Personal cleansing and intention-setting practices.
For the things you choose to keep close, and the things you are ready to leave behind.
Money Rice | Feed the Fortune
For prosperity, abundance and opportunity.
Rice has been associated with nourishment, fertility, prosperity and abundance across numerous cultures and spiritual traditions.
Within contemporary prosperity rituals, rice is often used symbolically to represent growth, resources and the intention to welcome opportunity.
Crystal Asylum's Money Rice features green-coloured rice prepared for use in symbolic abundance practices.
Its colour evokes growth, renewal and prosperity, making it a beautiful addition to a money bowl, intention jar or dedicated prosperity altar.
Suggested Ritual Uses
- Money bowls and prosperity jars.
- Abundance and opportunity rituals.
- Decorative altar arrangements.
- Intention-setting for business or personal goals.
- Symbolic practices centred around growth and financial stability.
Plant the intention. Welcome the opportunity. Feed the fortune.
Custom Intention Blend | Made for You
Your intention. Your ritual. Your own personal preparation.
Some intentions deserve something a little more personal.
The Crystal Asylum Custom Intention Blend is created specifically for you, with ingredients selected around the intention, purpose or spiritual theme you wish to work with.
Whether your focus is protection, confidence, self-love, abundance, spiritual growth, transformation or something entirely individual, your blend will be prepared with your chosen intention in mind.
Rather than selecting a ready-made preparation, you can share what you are hoping to focus on and have a blend created especially for your personal practice.
Every custom preparation is individual, so ingredients, colours and appearance may vary depending on the intention requested.
