The Knight is a beautifully unconventional way to bring fragrance into your space, combining raw Black Obsidian, delicate dried botanicals and a reusable glass vessel in a striking, flame-free diffuser.
I wanted something for Crystal Asylum that felt at home amongst the ritual tools, curiosities and treasures of a traditional witch's apothecary. Something that was as much about the presence it brings to a room as the fragrance itself.
Black Obsidian has long been associated with protection, grounding and the clearing of unwanted energies. In witchcraft, it's a stone often kept close when establishing boundaries, working with shadow or creating a space that feels distinctly your own.
Here, those darker associations meet something beautifully practical.
Simply arrange the crystals and dried flowers within the glass vessel, add a few drops of your chosen fragrance oil and allow the scent to gently diffuse. Change the fragrance to suit the season, your mood or the atmosphere you're creating.
Place it on an altar, beside your favourite books, in your sacred space or anywhere that deserves a little more character.
Unlike a traditional candle, there's no flame or melting wax involved. Just a quietly atmospheric piece that can be refreshed and enjoyed again and again.
